What do you do at TICAH?
I manage TICAH's adolescents and Youth Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights program. This includes in and out of school safe spaces, University and adolescent mothers’ support groups. I also support TICAH’s SRHR advocacy work.
What do you hope your work will do for the community you work with?
My hope for this work is that it will enable more women and girls become aware of themselves and their needs, gain confidence and make informed decisions that address those needs, and create favorable environments within their communities that enable them realize the choices that they make.
What do you love about TICAH?
I love the fact that TICAH’s work begins by ‘Listening’. This means that TICAH’s programs are largely informed by the communities’ needs and owned by the community.
