George F. Brown, MD, MPH

Dr. Brown is an international health consultant, specializing in reproductive health. He currently serves as consultant to the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. Previous positions include Director, Health Equity, the Rockefeller Foundation; Vice President, International Programs, the Population Council; and Director, Population and Health Sciences, the International Development Research Centre. He has worked in reproductive health programs, including HIV/AIDS prevention, in Africa, Asia, and Latin America, and was based in Haiti, Tunisia, and Morocco. He resides in New York City. Dr. Brown has an MD from the University of Toronto, and a Masterof Public Health degree from Harvard University.
