In July 2021, two crews of artists created two amazing murals in Uhuru Park: one on the public toilets across from Parliament and another on the stairs that join Uhuru Park to the Milimani Law Courts. The toilet mural was a contemporary take on traditional designs used on homes around Africa. The stairs mural brought a sense of nature and imagination to the space through a series of waterfalls, streams, flora and fauna of river life. More murals to come so stay tuned!
